Hi, I'm Archie.
I'm an independent web designer based in Essex. I started AGsites because too many small businesses either have no website at all or are stuck with one that's slow, dated, or just plain hard to use — usually after paying far too much for it.
I keep things straightforward: fair fixed prices, honest timelines, and a site you'll actually be proud to send people to. You deal with me directly the whole way through.

Most builds go live within one to three weeks of starting, depending on the package and how quickly you get me your content. I'll give you a clear timeline before we begin.
Just a rough idea of what you want and any text, photos or logos you already have. Don't worry if you're not sure — we'll work it out together on our first chat, and I can guide you on what's needed.
Yes. Once the project is paid for in full, the site is yours to keep. No being locked in, no holding your website hostage.
That's what the revision rounds are for. I share previews as we go, so there are no nasty surprises at the end — we shape it together until you're happy.
The build is a one-off fixed price. You'll have a small platform/hosting fee paid directly to Squarespace or Wix, and the optional £30/month Care Plan if you'd like me to look after updates and edits. No hidden fees from me.
